EDB picks local agencies for content marketing duties

The Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) has appointed content creation agencies The Nutgraf and Think Tank Studio to undertake its editorial, copywriting, copyediting, research and infographic design services for a year, with the option to extend for another.

This followed a tender which was called on 19 June 2017, which saw a total of 35 agencies vying for the account, according to Gebiz. Among the list of agencies included Ogilvy & Mather Singapore, Allison + Partners Singapore, King Content Singapore, TILT, Priority Consultants and Thomson Reuters Asia.

The Nutgraf specialises in content, communications and coaching. Among the list of clients it works with include Ministry of Trade and Industry Singapore, Ministry of Education, Land Transport Authority and Ministry of Finance. Think Tank Studio offers services including branding and visual identity, digital media advertisements, information graphics and website design and development. Clients it has collaborated with include GIC, Civil Service College and South Central Community Family Service Centre.

Meanwhile, several other government agencies have either concluded or also called for a tender. Recently, the People’s Association appointed Vizeum Singapore for online media buying duties. According to Gebiz, the agency will be tasked with amplifying PA’s messages on Facebook, Instagram and other variable buys, through post boosting and fan acquisition ads.
