Dyson has appointed Rosalind Hong (pictured) as its head of marketing for Southeast Asia, expanding her remit after more than three years with the technology company.
Hong shared the move on LinkedIn, where she said she took on the role this month. She was previously Dyson's marketing lead for Southeast Asia distributor markets, overseeing Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia and Vietnam.
In that role, Hong led the marketing team across Dyson's distributor markets in the region, with responsibilities spanning go-to-market execution, profitability management and portfolio growth and expansion across the company's categories.

Her promotion marks the latest step in her career at Dyson, which began in February 2023 when she joined as senior marketing manager for environmental care in Southeast Asia. In that position, she led the environmental care and lighting categories, with a focus on strategic portfolio initiatives across the region.
She subsequently became senior marketing manager for Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines in April 2023, holding the position for just over two years before stepping into the Southeast Asia distributor markets role in June 2025.
Prior to Dyson, Hong spent more than five years with Reckitt in Singapore, most recently as marketing manager for Dettol Surface across Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam.
During her time at Reckitt, she also led marketing for its health portfolio, which included brands such as Dettol, Durex, Gaviscon, Nurofen and Strepsils. She previously held senior trade marketing roles covering Dettol and over-the-counter brands.
Hong's career has also included brand marketing roles across the food and beverage sector. She was senior brand manager at KFC Singapore from 2016 to 2017, following stints as brand manager at Nestlé and Carlsberg Group. Earlier in her career, Hong spent more than five years with Reckitt in Malaysia. During that period, she worked across the Dettol and Durex brands in Malaysia and Singapore.
MARKETING-INTERACTIVE has reached out for more information.
Hong's appointment comes as Dyson continues to build out its marketing activity in the region. Earlier this year, Dyson Singapore appointed creative agency ballsy as its social agency-of-record following a pitch.
MARKETING-INTERACTIVE understood at the time that the one-year retainer began with KOL work, with monthly social assets rolling out from the end of May. As part of the remit, Dyson also rolled out a social-first campaign featuring local influencer Munah Bagharib.
