DOOH media owner Visual Retale's #CelebratingMalaysia campaign features personal messages from key Malaysian leaders which are displayed across prominent billboards within the Klang Valley for the month of September. The messages are intended to acknowledge and appreciate those who continue to help the nation, while inspiring Malaysians to stay strong and positive through the ongoing battle against COVID-19, and the ensuing economic and social difficulties.

Participating leaders include Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin and corporate figures such as group CEO AirAsia Tony Fernandes, founder of Berjaya Corporation Vincent Tan, founder and group MD of Mah Sing Group Leong Hoy Kum and MD of Mydin Mohamed Holdings Wira Hj. Ameer Ali Mydin.

CEO of Visual Retale, Sailendra Kanagasundram, said the pandemic's impact continues to be felt across the globe, yet Malaysians have held strong through the crisis.

“We at Visual Retale acknowledge these contributions and launched this campaign in commemoration with Malaysia Day as a tribute and celebration of all Malaysians. It serves as a reminder that we not let our guards down; we need to continue fighting for a better tomorrow, together. With the help of so many key leaders in Malaysia, we hope this campaign will resonate a strong message of unity, endurance and solidarity amongst Malaysians," he said.

He added that it has received an outpouring of support across all walks of leadership, including the PM.

"We hope their positive messages given in the spirit of Malaysia Day will let each Malaysian know their contributions are appreciated. We will continue to stay vigilant and pull together as a united Malaysia through our adversity," he said.
