DigitasLBi grows local team

Global marketing and technology agency DigitasLBi is strengthening its Singapore office with new senior hires. The agency has appointed Knox Balbastro as regional associate creative director, Lauren Ahearn as business director and Lawrence Lee as strategy lead.The hires follow a series of recent client wins for DigitasLBi Singapore; including UOB, Pernod Ricard and Unilever. Balbastro joins from Isobar where she spent the last two years as a senior copywriter with responsibility for the agency’s creative output on Singapore accounts including Republic of Singapore Navy, Singapore Exchange (SGX), FRANK by OCBC and Uniqlo.Balbastro has worked on a range of leading brands over the past ten years, including Häagen Dazs, J&J, Omo, WWF, Clear and Samsung.Ahearn joined DigitasLBi from Tribal/DDB Singapore, where she was responsible for SEA Unilever business for the past two years. Ahearn has solid FMCG and Automotive expertise background having previously worked at Saatchi & Saatchi Singapore office leading the Lexus/Toyota and P&G business.Ahearn will oversee the Unilever and Disney business in Singapore.Lee joins from Gyro, where he spent the last two years as a strategic consultant. He has a hybrid background, having worked both client side for COMO Hotels & Resorts as well as agency side at Mirium (XM Asia) as a Strategist. He will focus on key accounts such as Unilever Paddle Pop and Disney.Annette Male, managing director at DigitasLBi Singapore said:“ After a fantastic 2015 when we doubled the size of the office, we want to continue building on our success and growing our scale in 2016.
