Digital agency 2Stallions names regional head of performance marketing

Digital marketing agency 2Stallions has appointed Pieter Dijkgraaf as its regional head of performance marketing. In a statement to Marketing, a spokesperson said Dijkgraaf (pictured) will oversee the performance marketing team across the agency's offices in Asia, as well as drive performance marketing for its clients. His team currently consists of six people, excluding himself, across Singapore, the Philippines, and India. 

He reports to the three owners of the agency - managing and technical director Dhawal Shah, chief customer officer and head of marketing Razy Shah, and director of digital marketing strategy Daniël Heerkens. According to the spokesperson, Dijkgraaf has over eight years of experience in the online performance field, of which he spent five years on the agency side. The spokesperson added that 2Stallions appointed Dijkgraaf because the agency felt that he can support the growth of the company with his experience in growing digital agencies.

When asked about his vision for the role, Dijkgraaf told Marketing that his team aims to develop further on the programmatic branch. He explained that even though programmatic advertising is not as big in Asia as it is in Europe, clients have shown interest in this subject. The campaigns that the agency come up with will not only focus on awareness, but also be set up with the client's actual KPI in mind. Dijkgraaf said 2Stallions will also aim to be transparent in its work and give full insights of the work done and results to the client.

Prior to this appointment, Dijkgraaf worked as a freelance digital marketing consultant in Netherlands. He started his career working as a Google ads specialist for a vendor of Google, where he worked on behalf of Google and supported digital agencies with their Google ads campaigns. After a couple of years, he moved to digital agency Artefact as an online marketing consultant, before getting promoted to head of paid and display media advertising. Subsequently, he went on to helm the role of senior performance strategist at digital marketing agency The Fightclub for two years, according to his LinkedIn page.

Founded in 2012, 2Stallions offers digital marketing, creative, as well as web and app development services. Countries it has a presence in includes Singapore, the Phillippines, and India. The agency works with brands such as CNN, Singapore Press Holdings, Sennheiser, AXA, Red Bull, and Bosch. It also works with Singapore government agencies such as the Land Transport Authority, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Singapore Land Authority.
