Desmond Chan leaves Grey for Digital Domain China

Digital Domain China has brought Desmond Chan on board as chief operating officer, effective January 2017. Reporting to president Dennis Yeung, Chan will be involved in overseeing ongoing business operations within the company, and foster new business development in various areas like VR and interactive visual engagement.In his previous role at Grey Group, Chan was the EVP, chief growth officer at Greater China. He was responsible for driving business growth across the Greater China region,Chan was with Grey Hong Kong for about a decade. Before joining Grey, he worked in various agencies including TBWA, Saatchi and Saatchi, BBDO and Publicis, and has managed several brand names such as China Mobile, Volvo Greater China, SmarTone-Vodafone, HSBC, Standard Chartered Bank, Bank of China (HK), UBS, AXA, Sun Hung Kai Properties, Canon, HP and GSK.
