Gyro, the world’s first full-service, global creative B2B powerhouse and part of Dentsu Aegis Network, has promoted Laura Bell to newly-created role of managing director of the Singapore office. Most recently, Bell was client services director – a title she held since 2016, where she worked closely with the gyro leadership team to shape the business and grow client relationships with gyro’s full set of B2B services. In her new role, Bell will be responsible for the future direction and commercial success of the Singapore office, as well as managing all the teams in the regional headquarters of gyro APAC. Reporting into Kieran Vye, CEO gyro APAC, Bell will work with Vye to develop the vision for the business, developing gyro’s offering and skill sets in order to deliver bigger and better work for clients. Bell joined the business six years ago and is currently based in Singapore, gyro’s largest office in the region. In her place, Francesca Babet has been promoted into the client services director position. Babet joined the business in October 2017 as group account director and has since then, established strong relationships with gyro’s key regional clients.Vye said: “Our vision for gyro in APAC is to really shift expectations when it comes to B2B. Not only do we want to create impactful work but offer the additional services that support our clients in how, why and where they communicate.”He added that clients are constantly trying to navigate the complexities of the region, commercial restraints and growing customer demands — this extends beyond marketing and communications, and into how those business functions operate efficiently. “We want to offer services that offer real value to their business, as well as making their days a little easier by cutting through the noise. As gyro continues to strengthen our B2B offerings within APAC, Bell’s appointment to managing director of Singapore brings core knowledge and experience to the leadership team in region. Very exciting times ahead!” he added.“I’m incredibly excited to be leading gyro into its next chapter. We have a huge opportunity in B2B in this region and I want to work on how we package our offering, have a bigger voice in the market and deliver with impact for our clients,” said Bell.“The strength in gyro is our people, and my proudest achievement since joining the business is my team. With the existing members and some exciting new talent that have recently joined us, I look forward to us working together to make new waves in the market,” she added.
