Dentsu Media promotes Alice Lee as MD

Media Palette Hong Kong / Dentsu Media Hong Kong has promoted Alice Lee (pictured) as managing director, effective immediately.

Lee joined Media Palette Hong Kong as business director upon its establishment in May, 2010. Her previous role in the company was general manager.

Under her leadership, the agency has gained more than 25 new accounts over four years, and expanded from an agency of 10 employees to 22.

Lee has over 19 years’ experience in the advertising industry.

Media Palette Hong Kong is part of the Dentsu Aegis Network, a wholly owned subsidiary of Dentsu Inc.

“With her new role, Alice will continue to drive the agency with her acquired expertise. She is also expected to embrace integration of traditional, online and social media offerings for our clients,” said Ken Matsumura, CEO of Dentsu Aegis Network Hong Kong.

Matsumura was promoted to CEO of Dentsu Aegis Network from president of Media Palette Hong Kong / Dentsu Media Hong Kong in January this year. He now oversees all Dentsu Aegis Network units in Hong Kong including Media Palette / Dentsu Media, as well as Aegis Media’s businesses including Carat, iProspect, Isobar in Hong Kong.

After the management alignment, Matsumura’s responsibly is to raise awareness in the market, unifying backend offices to enhance the effectiveness on media buying.

So far all the business units are still operating in different offices while the agency is still going through integrating process. Matsumura said moving all business into one office is something the agency is looking into.
