Dentsu has promoted Adrian TanÂ from strategic planning director to head of strategy and planning. In his new role, Tan will lead the agencyâ€™s strategic delivery, as well as drive innovative business solutions. He will report to Popo Hu, managing director of Dentsu Hong Kong.Â
Tan joined Dentsu in 2017 as strategic planning director, where he was responsible for developing communication frameworks and strategy for clients across a range of sectors including finance, FMCG, travel, automobiles, and real estate. Under his leadership, Tan has doubled the team size and expanded the services offered by the agency.

The elevation of Tan and his new duties were reportedly a response to Dentsuâ€™s growth in the areas of brand consultancy and digital content.
