Dentsu has launched Dentsu Creative with Kunal Roy (pictured left) and Andrew Low (pictured right) at helm. Roy will be leading Dentsu Creative as CEO for creative brands. Meanwhile, Low is Denstu Creative's group chief creative officer in Malaysia.

Dentsu Creative was officially formed in June this year, uniting 9,000 employees with its team of 37,000 Media and CXM experts working across the businesses globally.

To bolster its creative capabilities, Dentsu Creative recently brought onboard individuals such as Alicia Hew and Sid Nair as creative director and associate creative director respectively, according to their LinkedIn. At the same time, Ken Chin came on board as client partner and head of operations, while Rishu Verma is heading some of the business’ key accounts. Meanwhile, Nicholas Corneilius is leading the social media division, while Moiz Rangoonwala is heading strategic planning, and Agata Bas is in charge of creative experience and commerce.

The company will be prioritising modern creativity in its future ventures. Roy said that he believes in the power of "Modern Creativity" to positively impact people, businesses and society altogether.

“As we head into the new year, we will unveil a host of creative products, to our clients and the market, which have been incubating over the last couple of months in preparation of the Dentsu Creative launch,” he added. Roy joined dentsu in July from Publicis Groupe.

Meanwhile, Low said the launch of Dentsu Creative aims to supercharge the agency;'s creative product and reinvigorate its talent. “Our ideas, solutions, products and innovation will be designed for impact – be it to create culture, change society or invent the future - and that is how we will measure creative success moving forward," he added.

When Dentsu Creative was first launched, the agency said that the brand was crafted as an expression of East meets West, taking inspiration from Japanese culture, design, fashion and technology. Four traditional Japanese cultural icons are used to represent Dentsu Creative’s values. They are Kitsune Fox, Ryujin Dragon, Orizuru Crane, and Kohaku Koi.

Earlier this year, Cheuk Chiang was appointed as Dentsu Creative's Asia Pacific CEO. He said previously that the way consumers interact with brands is far more sophisticated than it used to be.

"In this complex environment, every marketer wants their brand to communicate consistently; to speak with one voice across all consumer touchpoints and experiences. The challenge they face is finding a simple integrated solution that embraces the full richness of the modern marketing landscape," he said.

He added that Dentsu Creative is perfectly positioned to deliver on this need through modern creativity and seamless integration across the Dentsu network.
