Dentsu Aegis Network has appointed Supparat Thepparat (pictured) as executive creative director of Dentsu One Bangkok.
Based in Bangkok, Thepparat will be assisting Suban Khow, chief creative officer of Dentsu One, in managing regional clients, digital platforms and the Business Design Lab. Thepparat will play a key role in developing the agency’s creative talent as well.
Prior to this appointment, Thepparat served as creative partner at BBDO, Guangzhou working with international brands such as Dji Drone, VIVO, Procter & Gamble, as well as regional brands such as Darlie Toothpaste. Before that, he was the senior creative director at J. Walter Thompson, Shanghai working with HSBC, Abbott, J&J Regional and other local clients.
Thepparat’s career started at BBDO Bangkok, before he moved on to McCann Worldgroup Middle East to work on accounts such as Coca Cola, MasterCard, McDonald’s and Batelco. He returned to Bangkok as creative director for Dentsu One (then known as Dentsu Plus) in 2012.
Ted Lim, chief creative officer of Dentsu Brand Agencies Asia Pacific, said Thepparat is a “bright spark who will add creative magic to the marketing acumen of the agency with his international experience”.
“We’re really glad that Thepparat has rejoined us. He was one of the key players driving Dentsu One Bangkok’s growth – both in business and creative reputation. I’m sure that with him back onboard we’ll strengthen our core team to deliver innovative services for our clients,” said Khow.
“I will bring the dynamism of China’s digital development along with the diversity of its media environment to create inspiring work for the Thai market,” said Thepparat. “I am confident that the opportunity to dig deep into our own unique local market, to cooperate with its best talents, and to connect deeply with consumers and brands will inspire new innovative and creative ideas,” he added.
