DDB bags the Wall’s Ice Cream brand globally

Unilever has appointed DDB as its creative agency to run the full Wall’s Ice Cream brand creatives globally.

DDB has already been handling the bulk of Wall’s business in Europe and the new assignments sees the agency pick up the brand in Southeast Asia and Latin American (LATAM). The LATAM region was previously managed by Lowe.

The appointment came following a pitch led from adam&eveDDB in London. adam&eveDDB led the pitch against Lowe alongside DM9 in Brazil and Tribal in Singapore.

Ian Maskell, VP global brand development Wall’s & Desserts said, “The agency has done a great job with Wall’s over the last year and we see the opportunity to streamline efforts behind bigger, more powerful and single-minded communication across the totality of the Wall’s brand.”

adam&eveDDB, which handled the business in Europe, launched the new positioning “Goodbye Serious” in the UK this summer across outdoor, bus-sides and digital and social.
