After unveiling the second season of the bank's web mini-series Sparks in July, DBS has expanded the initiative to Hong Kong. The launch in Hong Kong includes out-of-home and online advertising, influencer marketing (including Manner, and oncctesthk, social media engagement), and online-to-offline-to-online activation, including a chatbot game with motion detection digital game kiosk. The chatbot game is designed to encourage people to be more socially conscious, raising awareness of various ways to do so. This will be accomplished via communications on Facebook Messenger and interactive game kiosks. The kiosks will be located at Olympian City, in T.O.P Mongkok, Cityplaza in Taikoo Shing, as well as at the DBS Hong Kong branches at One Island East in Taikoo Place, and Two Harbour Square in Kwun Tong.As part of the initiative, DBS Hong Kong will also be promoting a more sustainable lifestyle at IRIS: Your Escape, an outdoor fitness and wellness festival taking place in Hong Kong at the Central Harbourfront from 21 to 22 September.Additionally, as well as taking part in talks and workshops about sustainability and green living - including activities by local social enterprises Eco-Greenergy and Rooftop Republic Urban Farming - DBS Hong Kong is partnering with Urban Spring to provide water stations and reusable water bottle rentals as part of the "Live Well#, Plastic Less" campaign. Over the coming year, the campaign will cover other major events and locations in Hong Kong, with the aim of reducing the amount of single-use plastic waste by 100,000 single-use plastic bottles.
