VivaKi has hired David Chen as the agency's managing director for China.
Chen will be responsible for launching and driving the adoption of VivaKi products, technology platforms and partnerships across Publicis Groupe agencies in the Chinese market.
His core focus will be on advocacy and education efforts for VivaKi’s programmatic media buying solution Audience On Demand, the agency said in a press release.
He is based in Beijing and will report into VivaKi’s executive director of operations and partnerships Robin Chen.

“David’s publisher experience and programmatic knowledge, coupled with Robin’s strong leadership, will help amplify our digital presence in APAC.”
Chen was most recently responsible for Google Media and Platforms Solutions in Greater China. With more than 10 years of digital marketing experience in Asia Pacific, he helped lay the foundations for programmatic buying and RTB in China.
