Coway Indonesia taps digital agency Magnus for influencer campaign

Coway Indonesia, a water filtration and air purifier company based in South Korea, has partnered with digital consultancy Magnus for its influencer marketing campaign. The campaign will last until October 2021 and will focus on Coway’s new products - Air Purifier Tornado and Water Purifier Cinnamon. Magnus has been tasked with increasing brand awareness and brand presence for Coway in Indonesia and on social media.

Andy Kim, CEO of Coway Indonesia, told MARKETING-INTERACTIVE that Magnus was chosen because the agency had a deep knowledge of the Indonesian market, and the agency has handled various big companies such as LINE Bank by Hana Bank, Garuda Indonesia and Tokopedia, as well as the government. 

Meanwhile, Magnus MD Pradhana H.S. said it is happy and very honoured to work with Coway. "We truly look forward to all the exciting opportunities ahead. Every opportunity comes with a challenge, we believe that Coway as the partner can strive together with Magnus," he added.

Coway was founded in May 1989 and currently has four offices in Southeast Asia - Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam. The company has been steadily building its consumer base across Southeast Asia. For instance, Coway named K-pop boy band BTS as its global brand ambassador earlier this year in order to help the brand expand its international presence, reach new consumers, and increase brand awareness. Coway also plans to collaborate with artists from Big Hit Entertainment, the agency managing BTS, for various marketing projects in the future.
