Seasoned marketer Zara Cobb has joined Compare Club as CMO as the comparison platform moves into its next stage of growth.
Cobb joins with more than 20 years experience driving brand and customer growth across fintech, e-commerce and loyalty. She joins from Cashrewards, where as CMO she led brand transformation and membership growth for Australia’s largest cashback platform.
Prior to that, she spent six years at Lendi Group, where she played a key role in the merger with Aussie Home Loans and drove growth across the combined business, holding senior roles including CMO, Group CMO and chief growth officer.
“I’ve always admired the mission to genuinely help Australians save money on their household bills, especially in this time of affordability anxiety,” Cobb said. “It feels like a perfect fit and I can’t wait to get started with the team.”
Emma Fawcett, CEO of Compare Club, said the appointment reflects the company’s focus on innovation, customer growth and purpose-led leadership.
“Zara brings incredible energy, empathy and a results-driven mindset to everything she does,” Fawcett said. “Her experience in driving customer growth and building high-performing teams makes her a tremendous addition to our leadership group.”
Earlier in her career, Cobb held senior strategy roles at Initiative, Mediacom, Match Media and Blue 449, where she served as head of strategy and analytics. Across these roles, she led teams of more than 60 and managed marketing budgets of up to $30 million, earning a reputation for performance marketing grounded in brand purpose - noting that “clicks without connection just don’t cut it.”
Cobb said she was drawn to Compare Club’s mission to help Australians save money and make smarter financial decisions.
