CIMB Singapore has appointed JOLT Digital to handle digital duties for a year, covering all paid media campaigns for the bank. JOLT Digital will be providing digital media planning and buying across all digital platforms, including adtech and leveraging its proprietary planning technology developed to maximise campaigns return on ad spend.

The appointment follows a pitch and presentation held last September. CIMB told MARKETING-INTERACTIVE that JOLT Digital was selected for its founder, Sebastien Lepez, and team’s extensive experience in managing digital campaigns for a mix of homegrown and international brands including Razer, Lazada, Chubb, and TPG. Additionally, CIMB said Lepez's extensive experience in marketing and branding adds to the dynamic mix of the agency's portfolio.

Lepez said that with JOLT Digital's "game-changing strategic approach to acquisition", CIMB Singapore can better invest in proven methodologies backed by solid data research to drive positive business outcomes. “We are very excited to kick off 2022 with a big win. CIMB is a leading financial institution, we are ready to expand its market share in Singapore through digital campaigns," he added.

Jonathan Ng, business and strategy director at JOLT Digital who will lead the partnership, said: “The team and I are very happy to have the privilege to work with such an established bank in the region as they refresh their brand proposition and reconnect with their consumers. Exciting work in store on the digital front!”
