Changi Airport Group reappoints Bounche Indonesia for social duties

Changi Airport Group has reappointed Bounche Indonesia as its social media agency. The pitch, which was held in mid-January this year, saw “a few local and international agencies” participating, said the two in a press statement.

Bounche will continue to handle strategic planning and creative services for CAG’s social media in Indonesia market. In a statement to Marketing Interactive, Bounche said that it is excited to drum up publicity on the “many wonderful experiences” that CAG can offer to travellers.

CEO of PT Bounche Indonesia Majin added, “Our team is fully committed to deliver creative campaigns and ideas on social media that will inspire and attract Indonesian travellers to Changi Airport. Indonesia is one of Changi Airport’s top five markets in terms of passenger traffic. Over 2017 and 2018, Bounche has been making efforts to increase CAG’s branding and engagement levels by rolling out relevant content and activities on social media that appeal to Indonesians.

Over in Singapore, CAG has appointed Ogilvy & Mather Singapore as the creative and digital agency of record, but retained its social account with incumbent Goodstuph for another two years in 2018. Goodstuph is currently handling Facebook, Twitter and Instagram channels for CAG.

In 2017, CAG put up a viral social media post on its Facebook addressing a visit from a family of otters yesterday on one of its tarmacs. The post, which also took a chance to highlight the airport’s commitment to passenger safety, had the caption “Your safety is our otter-most concern, always”. The tongue-in-cheek pun received positive responses from netizens.
