Changi Airport Group has called a creative, digital and social media pitch in a new contract that will run for two years.
The pitch is expected to close in early December and a spokesperson told Marketing that some 10 agencies attended a briefing. Incumbent agencies on the business are DDB and Tribal DDB.
It is also understood that CAG has for the first time called a creative, PR and media pitch in China to bring closer ties between the two countries and allow smoother transit. Currently DDB, Publicis and Saatchi & Saatchi are shortlisted and are in the running for the account.
“China is an important market for us. Communication and engagement with this market is essential for us,” Ivan Tan, SVP of corporate and marketing communications at CAG. said.
Last year, CAG released a year-long campaign to brand itself amongst travellers as providing a first class experience. A 90 second brand was launched, with scenes of the airport’s amenities such as its rooftop pool and butterfly garden.
