Celestial announces string of senior hires

Celestial Tiger Entertainment has announced four additional hires to key functions across its network. Nadia Hwang (left) joins the pay-TV company as vice president, advertising sales, reporting into Todd Miller, CEO of Celestial Tiger Entertainment.Hwang joins from Turner International where she oversaw ad sales for all Turner entertainment properties in North and South East Asia. Annie Yim (right) joins as director, content sales and distribution, reporting to Ed Stansfield, chief financial officer and senior vice president, business development.She will be responsible for the licensing of Lionsgate's television content as well as its vast library of feature films in Greater China and South Korea. Yim previously worked at Celestial Pictures as director of distribution handling the licensing of the Shaw Brothers Film Library as well as Celestial Pictures’ new content in Greater China.Simon Ng joins as director, corporate finance and business development, and will be in charge of developing and evaluating new business initiatives for CTE, as well as support the company’s strategic and financial planning. Additionally, Shirley Cheong joins as director of marketing for KIX and Thrill channels. Cheong will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing campaigns to build the channel brands and their viewership, supporting channel affiliates, and providing marketing support to channel distribution and advertising sales teams.
