Carat China has announced the appointment of Sen Lin as group convergence planning director.
Reporting to Jenny Yang, managing director, data & strategy, Lin will work with the convergence planning team to deliver best-in-class communications planning product, strategy and innovations.
Lin brings with him over a decade of experience across marketing, planning, brand positioning and communication strategy, spanning multiple sectors including FMCG, automobile, banking, electronics, amongst others.
Lin joins Carat China from MCCANN where he worked on brand positioning and communication strategy for Cadillac. Prior to that, he worked at Saatchi & Saatchi, O.M.P and Ogilvy & Mather Advertising, servicing international and Chinese brands including Häagen-Dazs, Chivas Regal, China Bank of Communications, and Microsoft.
Yang said: “Sen’s rich strategic planning experience and in-depth insight into consumer trends and culture, will further enhance the Convergence Planning team’s capability to bring more business value led by insight and strategy to clients, and to fulfill Carat’s proposition of redefining media.”
