Canon Snaps Its Way Into Vietnam

Vietnam - Canon has launched a new marketing division in Ho Chi Minh City to meet the demands of its Vietnamese consumers.Canon Marketing Vietnam Company was established to create an import, distribution, sales and service system for Canon products in the country. Set to begin operations next month, Noriji Yoshia will lead the new arm as president and legal representative.The decision to set up shop in Vietnam comes as the country is evolving to become a significant economy, with an almost 6% economic growth.With the setting up of a local office, it will gradually take over the responsibilities currently handled by its existing representative offices. Plans have also been put in place to further develop the brand's presence and services to the local customers.Additionally, Canon Vietnam will also look into expanding its market share in industries including production, printing and motion-picture and broadcasting production.
