Rev Asia has announced its partnership with Business Insider, an online news portal, to launch the regional version, involving Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia. The websites went live on 12 February.
Voon Tze Khay, Rev Asia’s managing director, said, “While the sites here will continue to carry Business Insider’s award-winning international content, we are committed to delivering up-to-the-minute, locally-relevant news on developments happening right here in the region, in the style and tone that Business Insider’s readership is accustomed to. ”
BusinessInsider.com was founded in California in 2007 and has since undergone a rebranding in 2009. Content of the website covers technology and business news targeted to business leaders and commands a readership of over 40 million unique visitors per month.
Currently, Malaysia records 370,000 unique visitors, Singapore with 540,000 and Indonesia with 211,000, respectively.
