Burberry caught in gaffe for confusing two actors it helped dress

Burberry has unfortunately found itself in a bit of a pickle. At the recent BAFTA Award held in London, actors Dev Patel and Riz Ahmed walked the red carpet in chic Burberry suits.However, the fashion brand mistook Ahmed for Patel and tweeted the following:This didn't sit too well with the vicious Twitteratzis. They criticised the fashion house as racist and mocked at its inability to differentiate between two brown-skinned people.Since then, the brand has deleted the tweets and uploaded the right one recognising the actors correctly.Moreover in a statement to the Huffington Post UK, the brand apologised for its mistake and said that the mistake will not be repeated again.But to be fair, at a quick glance, even I got confused.
