The museum will run for six months.Meanwhile, Selfie Museum will also be running a social media contest titled "#Selfielah #Selfietogether" until 30 September 2018, in conjunction with Merdeka Day. Visitors are encouraged to post creative selfies on to Instagram and use the hashtag #selfielah and #selfietogether. In a statement to A+M, general manager – marketing, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur Juliana Chua said the Selfie Museum complements the Fahrenheit88 brand positioning and is relevant to its shopper profile as well as its current tenant mix."The Selfie Museum will take the lead in our upcoming mall campaign, KOLs are given the first opportunity to try out the rooms and spread the selfies, we will embark on a Selfie contest to capitalized on this current pop culture as well as crowd sourcing the selfies taken to repost as ads," she said.According to director of the Selfie Museum, Sean Tan, the "Selfie Museum" is something new in Malaysia and it aims to allow Malaysians to experience a multi-sensorial journey that covers sight, touch and taste.“We are delighted to work with Fahrenheit 88 and other amazing international and local brands to bring them to life in a creative, interactive, fun and engaging environment. We’d like to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude for their support and for being part of this project.
