Chinese New Year is fast approaching. While some might be gearing up for festive celebrations with families, there are also others who are more keen on remaining at home to rest and recharge. If you're in the latter camp, we've got you covered with some shows you should binge on this holiday!

Getting this list done was no easy feat as the editorial team had debates about which shows to include. Yes, we feel very strongly about the type of shows we watch! While we know that there are some other great shows such as Supersize Me, these are the ones the team caught recently and found interesting. It's time to get some popcorn and stretch out on your couch!

Formula 1: Drive to Survive

Vroom vroom! Binge on how drivers, managers, and team owners live life in the fast lane with this series from Formula One. Done in collaboration with Netflix, the film features a behind-the-scenes look at the drivers and races of the Formula One World Championship.

IMDB rating: 8.6/10

Halston

Portraying the life and death story of American fashion designer, Roy Halston Frowick, the film shows details of his star-studded rise in the 1970s. Featuring real-life events of his career, the film also shows how the fashion designer lost his company, Halston, in the mid 1980s.

IMDB rating: 7.5/10

House of Gucci 

Based on the book by Sarah Gay Forden, The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed, the film follows Patrizia Reggiani, who was convicted for the assassination arrangement of her former husband and head of the Gucci fashion, Maurizio Gucci. An outsider from humble beginnings, the film shows Reggiani's marriage to the Gucci family, and how her ambitions unraveled the family legacy.

Steve Jobs 

In this film, Steve Jobs takes the audiences behind the scenes of the digital revolution and the challenges he faces while trying to launch three products in the market. Jobs is seen developing products for Apple computers, and how he left the company but only to return as its CEO. Apple was recently named the most valuable brand once again and according to Brand Finance's Global 500 report, it has a brand value of US$355.1 billion in 2022.

The Social Network 

A tale of one of the world's youngest billionaire, The Social Network revolves around Mark Zuckerberg, the creator of Meta, which was also previously known as Facebook. The movie portrays the journey of a young Zuckerberg, who was still in Harvard and his idea of a social networking site. Exploring the spirals of the life of a young entrepreneur, Zuckerberg battles against the resulting lawsuits, making his dream a reality.
