BMW brings the World of Joy

BMW Group Malaysia has introduced Facebook app for fans called the BMW World of Joy.

The introduction of the app is part of the ongoing “Joy” local campaign that was introduced in 2010 to promote joy as BMW’s core brand value.

Fans are invited to submit photos or quotes reflecting their special moments of joy via the app available at www.facebook.com/BMW.Malaysia from 4 January until 2 March 2013.

“To date, we have received more than 100 submissions and the numbers are growing on a daily basis. When we introduced this app, we were looking to connect with our Facebook fans on a more personal level and invite them to share their special moments of joy with us,” said David Owen, head of marketing BMW Group Malaysia.

BMW Group Malaysia will select the best submissions based on likes and creativity. The winning entries will be displayed at selected BMW Authorised Dealerships across the country and also be featured in Joy campaigns throughout the year.

The app is promoted via Facebook, website mentions and E-newsletters.

For the World of Joy Facebook app, Arc Worldwide is the digital and creative agency while Carat is the media agency.
