Bloomberg upgrades its iPad app

Bloomberg today has announced major updates to its Bloomberg TV+ iPad app, which includes live TV network for Bloomberg TV Asia and the addition of shows from the Bloomberg TV Asia lineup including First Up, Asia Stars, Asia Voyagers, Asia Edge and others. For added context, users are given market data, news and bios of the people and companies related to the video they are watching. Bloomberg TV+ first launched in October 2011.

Sullivan to lead hub+

hub+ Singapore, an Omnicom company specialising in localising global production and implementation, has appointed David Sullivan (pictured) to the newly-created role of regional operations director. Sullivan has over 12 years of agency experience and has previously worked at Tag Worldwide and Ogilvy & Mather in London. Some of the clients he has worked with include IT giant Dell, Motorola Mobility, Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG), Royal Bank of Scotland, Barclays Bank and Avon Cosmetics.

CommsDNA on a winning spree

Communications DNA (CommsDNA) has bagged several wins with the agency adding a one-year retainer accounts with property group Lend Lease Asia, restaurant group Fish & Co and T32 Dental Centre. For Lend Lease Asia, CommsDNA has been appointed its PR Consultancy and will provide ongoing internal and external communications strategies as well support for all media initiatives. CommsDNA is working with Fish & Co. to provide marketing and communications services for its consumer engagement activities as well as promotional ideas. Luxury e-retailers, NET-A-PORTER and MR PORTER, have also extended CommsDNA’s appointment for another year, after an initial six-month retainer.

Rockwell Automation makes PR appointment

Industrial automation and information firm Rockwell Automation has appointed Asia-Pacific Connections (APC) as its PR agency to provide strategic counsel and establish significant relations with the local media. The appointment comes at a time the company is looking to expand its market share and footprint in Singapore as the hub for Southeast Asia. APC will collaborate with Rockwell Automation to enhance the company’s brand awareness by leveraging its leadership in broad industrial-automation offerings to B2B organisations.
