Building & Construction Authority (BCA) has appointed local agency Addiction Advertising for BCA’s Window Safety campaign, beating out several other agencies.
The campaign will be executed on local press in four languages. The campaign is set to run on buses, bus shelters and is worth SG$500,000. Also vying for the account was the Ad Planet group, Asatsu-DK Singapore, Atomz I! Gosh Advertising, Pinheads Communications, Starlight Advertising, Sparkfury Creative Consultants and Sirius Art.
The agency will be tasked to handle BCA’s Window Safety Campaign which was first launched in 2009 to urge property owners and tenants to practice window safety. The campaign aims to alert homeowners to clean, check and change if necessary their windows. It aims to remind homeowners that they are responsible for checking and maintaining their windows regularly to ensure safety.
The campaign targets homeowners of high-rise apartments in HDB and private estates, in particular older housing estates and is aimed at those aged 50 and above.
