BCA Digital creates new head of marketing and comms role

Bank Central Asia (BCA) Digital has promoted Duardi Prihandiko to head of marketing and communications. In his new role, Prihandiko (pictured) is taking charge of all the details in relation to product marketing agendas and strategies, as well as building corporate’s brand reputation, a BCA Digital spokesperson told MARKETING-INTERACTIVE. Prihandiko is also supervising five departments: Brand awareness, brand activation, data performance and growth, corporate communication, and offline sales and acquisition. He also reports directly to Lanny Budiati, CEO of BCA Digital.

According to BCA Digital's spokesperson, this is the first such position in the company, and Prihandiko is the first to fill this position, having built the BCA Digital communication’s fundamentals, strategy, and learning from scratch. Prihandiko was formerly VP of brand and awareness at BCA, which is temporarily filled by an acting VP for brand and awareness. Prihandiko's former role will be taken by one of his apprentices who has been nurtured to take the leadership role. 

In his former role, Prihandiko will manage the brand and awareness of the company on the marketing side; according to his LinkedIn. This includes all advertising, OOH activations, and point of sale across all channels. BCA Digital was formerly Bank Royal before it was acquired as a business unit of the BCA Group at the end of 2019. BCA Digital develops innovative banking services and products for its customers.
