BBC World News beefs up its contentBBC's international television news channel, BBC World News, is unveiling a new content line-up from 14 January 2013 when it re-launches from its new studios in central London. BBC World News UK and international journalism teams have come together to provide output across digital, radio and television in 27 different languages, reaching an audience of 239 million people around the world a week. The channel will feature a new line-up of programmes and presenters, and will be investing in additional news gathering from around the world.Proximity Singapore makes new hiresProximity Singapore has appointed two new senior team members, Laurent Thevenet as technical director and Nicolyn Marino (pictured), digital production director. Thevenet will be responsible for bringing in new technology and will focus on campaigns with various multi-screen platforms. Prior to joining Proximity, Thevenet was an entrepreneur and creative technologist at RightBrain Asia. Marino joins the agency from BBH Singapore. She will be managing digital project management team and working acoss clients such as Visa.Carlsberg Singapore helps relaunch tapas barCarlsberg Singapore has partnered with Zsofi Tapas Bar located to relaunch Zsofi Tapas bar as a co-branded experiential bar. Currently in the renovation planning stage, the bar is set to be ready by early March 2013. The partnership between Carlsberg and Zsofi is managed by Orbital Group and the agency will also be in-charge of the creative execution of the bar design.
