BankBazaar International has appointed Ariff Communications as the retained PR agency, and Stellar Group Malaysia as the retained social and digital agency. Both of which will be responsible for the company’s brand development, execution and strategy implementations, with its focus on brand building, generating awareness and increasing engagement.
This is the first time the brand has appointed a communications agency to handle its branding since its recent launch in June 2017 (according to E27).
In a statement to A+M, the two agencies were chosen because of its “experience and expertise in the local market”, whereby both agencies complement each other in terms of skills and chemistry. In addition, the agencies understand the Millennial market which fits the primary target audience of BankBazaar Malaysia.
As of now, there is no set time frame for the partnership. According to BankBazaar, the brand is looking to build a “organic relationship” with both agencies, and are in a sense “a partner” to them.
BankBazaar Malaysia is part of BankBazaar International founded in 2008. It focuses on harnessing technology to deliver end-to-end paperless transactions in a bid to bring hassle-free convenience convenience to customers. The company provides financial products such as loans, insurance, credit cards, fixed deposits, mutual funds among others.
