Audi debuts exclusive Spider-Man: Far From Home short film ahead of summer release

Audi has teamed up with Sony Pictures Entertainment to release an exclusive short film ahead of the highly anticipated upcoming superhero flick, Spider-Man: Far From Home. The cheeky short, titled “Science Fair” has Peter Parker (Tom Holland) and his best friend Ned (Jacob Batalon), up against some very serious competition at the school science fair. To save their presentation, Peter races against time to acquire the perfect scientific advancement: the all-electric Audi e-tron GT concept.Though the ad may be due several eye-rolls in its conceit that a super spy agency with access to supersonic jets and time travel considers an electric car its prize possession, you’re going to watch your way through the ad with a grin, simply because of how charmingly adorable the nerdy brosome of Holland and Batalon continue to be.https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=2&v=4-jGd8vPvjE“Teaming up with Sony Studios gives us an ideal opportunity to stage Audi´s electric offensive in a spectacular environment and to customise this important technology for a highly engaged audience. Therefore product placement plays a significant role in our new brand strategy,” said Sven Schuwirth, head of brand Audi, digital business and customer experience at Audi AG. It hasn’t escaped notice – even from casual audiences – that Audi vehicles have featured across the Marvel franchise. Placement in Spider-Man: Far From Home includes the all-electric Audi e-tron and the all-new Audi A7 and Audi Q8. Audi vehicles will also make an appearance at the film’s Hollywood premiere event this summer.
