ASICS picks PR and social media partner

Sports brand ASICS has appointed MSL and Saatchi & Saatchi as its PR and social media partner in Singapore, following a pitch in February 2018. The appointment is for 12 months and will see the joint team will work with ASICS to elevate the brands’ presence in Singapore, as well as providing regional support. This includes markets such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines and Vietnam.

The scope of work will include PR, social media, influencer marketing and creative campaigns for the company’s portfolio of brands. Roy Lan, regional brand & product marketing communications manager for ASICS Asia, said that both agencies showed deep understanding of the nuances between ASIC’s  brands.

“They also presented a bold and refreshing creative-led approach on how we can take our brands to the next level across the region,” said Lan added.
