PR and digital marketing agency APRW Indonesia has expanded its team with new appointments, including the appointment of Debora Prescillia (pictured) as the agency's new associate director. The addition follows APRW's 25th anniversary, as well as its expansion to Indonesia in early 2020.

Cho Pei Lin, managing director, APRW said the appointments come as part of the agency's commitment to serve the Indonesian market. "This is part of our commitment to serve the Indonesian market. We believe our strong foothold in Singapore combined with the local expertise in the Indonesian market will play a vital role in unlocking the potential of the clients from a communications standpoint. Prescillia will focus on leading the operations in Indonesia, ensuring that the agency continues to provide strategic communication consultation, and to oversee the business development opportunities," she added.

Prescillia brings with her over a decade of corporate experience. According to her LinkedIn, Prescillia was formerly head of marketing and corporate communication at MNC Life Insurance, and head of product and promotion at MNC Asset Management before that. Prescillia has also previously worked in companies such as Pos Logistics Indonesia, ECU-LINE and McDonald's Indonesia; according to her LinkedIn. Additionally, Prescillia comes quipped with journalism and media experience from her time at Koran Jakarta, MNC Media Group, and The Indonesia Channel.

Prescillia said that she is excited about leading the APRW Indonesia team and furthering the role that the agency plays in supporting and being a reliable communication partner for its clients in Indonesia. "It is also important for us to build camaraderie with the team to have fun, grow and be fruitful in the work that we do and the projects entrusted to us by our clients,” she added.

MARKETING-INTERACTIVE has reached out to APRW for more details on Prescillia's responsibilities.

APRW said in a statement that its team in Indonesia has and will continue to work closely with its counterpart in Singapore, overseen by Anu Gupta, director of APRW, to provide expertise and support to clients in the startup and technology industry.

APRW’s portfolio of clients includes those in the government, public affairs, FMCG, education, health, hospitality, travel and tourism sectors. Some of its notable partners are Nanyang Polytechnic, specialist professional recruitment consultancy Robert Walters, Singapore Heart Foundation, RedDoorz, Taiwan Tourism Board. APRW is also the incumbent for the Total Defence campaigns since 2014, and was recently reappointed for another two years in December 2020.

Trip.com also appointed APRW to handle its PR duties for Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand until 31 March this year. The agency is currently responsible for relations, brand communications and support for Trip.com's marketing campaigns. APRW also seeks to play the role of bolstering the recognition of Trip.com within the region and drive the company's growth across its regional business units in Southeast Asia. The appointment follows a pitch held in March last year.
