Starcom China appoints Anna Chitty as CEO

Former PHD China CEO Anna Chitty has joined Starcom China as CEO. 

Chitty will take up her new role in March and will take responsibility for management and operations of Starcom in China, creating innovative client communication strategies that will drive the agency's business growth.

Chitty boasts over 27 years of experience in the communications industry in key markets including China, the US, Australia and New Zealand, spending the most recent 14 years of her career in China. Her previous experience included key management positions across Omnicom Media Group in China and the US, working with clients such as Unilever, Volkswagen, Huawei, TikTok International, HSBC and HP.

"She is a respected leader with a rich and diverse experience. With her at the helm of Starcom, I am certain we will continue to inspire our clients, our people and the industry," said Jane Lin-Baden, managing partner APAC and CEO North Asia, Publicis Groupe.
