Following its latest round of funding, Airbnb is on an aggressive hiring spree in Asia.
According to its site, more than 17 roles, including that of marketing director for Asia, are open.
The marketing director will report to the vice president of marketing in San Francisco.
Airbnb could not be reached for comment at the time of publishing on its plans for Asia. However, earlier last year, it appointed Lewis PR for its public relations push in Asia as well.
Airbnb now has over 600,000 listings across nearly 200 countries. According to the Wall Street Journal, the company has more than doubled its revenue from the year before, pulling in close to US$250 million.
Just earlier this month, Airbnb raised another US$450million, valuing the business at US$10 billion. The company started six years ago with a group of graduates renting out sleeping space in their flat.
