Budget carrier AirAsia Zest, a tie-up between Philippines AirAsia and Zest Airways, expanded its payment options by tapping Robinsons Department Store.
Travelers who booked flights online can now redeem tickets in any of Robinsons’ 40 branches nationwide. This covers all AirAsia Zest flights between Manila and domestic and international destinations in Malaysia, China and Korea.
The Gokongwei family, which owns Robinson’s, incidentally also leads rival budget carrier Cebu Pacific.
“We are expanding our cash payment partner service to include Robinsons Department Store to provide optimum convenience for our guests and allow them access to our low fares and other exclusive online bargain deals without using their credit or debit cards,” said AirAsia Zest commercial chief Gerard Peñaflor.
