AirAsia's first interactive travelogue of Bali and Lombok, #PlayYourWay, allows viewers to pick their preferred holiday experience in each destination. The travelogue features a total of 24 short clips, each making use of YouTube’s end screen feature, which allows viewers to customise and select their destination and activities. The travelogue places viewers in a first-person point of view as they decide if they would like to explore Bali with their friends or Lombok with their significant other. The video garnered 502,949 views on AirAsia’s YouTube channel at the time of writing.Along with the launch of its travelogue, the airline company also offered promotional fares from Kuala Lumpur to Bali and Lombok. According to regional commercial head Amanda Woo, #PlayYourWay is one of the creative ways it is taking to breakaway from the usual and to push the limits of how AirAsia can approach marketing in a digital world.“Bali and Lombok are regarded as two of Indonesia’s most beautiful islands. While Bali is already a well-known destination for travellers, the pristine island of Lombok is just as suitable for a fantastic holiday getaway. The goal was to provide viewers with the opportunity to immerse themselves in the experience," Woo added.Read also:AirAsia launches one-stop travel shop, aims to be go-to hub for travellersAirAsia partners online news portal The ASEAN Post to integrate travel lifestyle contentAirAsia scores with Malaysian Football League partnershipAirAsia to fly between the Philippines and Japan
