AirAsia BIG partners to boost rewards system

AirAsia BIG has tied up with online travel agency to offer members to earn points on all non-AirAsia flight bookings and itineraries. Under the partnership, AirAsia BIG members will gain access to an array of flight options in AirAsia’s network and across all airlines at

AirAsia BIG members are given the chance to win a total of 1 million BIG points for all flight bookings made with via the AirAsia BIG website or mobile app until 31 March 2019. The partnership with forms part of AirAsia’s digital transformation and the development of BIGLIFE, an all-encompassing travel and lifestyle platform. BIGLIFE incorporates all of AirAsia’s digital investments under its digital arm RedBeat Ventures, such as BigPay, ROKKI, Ourshop, RedBox and RedCargo.

Spencer Lee, CEO of AirAsia BIG, said member benefits will only get “bigger and better” as it continues to develop and integrate more guest-obsessed travel and lifestyle products and services.

“This partnership allows us to push boundaries when it comes to new ways of earning BIG Points and we look forward to sharing even more exciting features and offers for members in the coming months,” Lee said. AirAsia BIG has been launching new initiatives to reward its members. Last September, it rolled out BIG Xchange, a points exchange platform to enable members to convert between BIG Points and partner points seamlessly and instantly. Earlier in 2018, it also teamed up with Fave to unveil the feature BIG Deals by Fave, to give members more freedom to enjoy “bigger experiences” at a better value.
