Teeman takes CEO role for Aegis Media China

Phil Teeman will take over as CEO of Aegis Media China from Q1 next year, with current CEO KF Lee taking on a the chairwoman role.Teeman jumps to Aegis from WPP, where he was part of the global management team responsible for the media and account planning for Ford. He will be based in Shanghai.He brings to the role more than 20 years of media agency experience, leading assignments for some of the world’s largest advertisers. Prior to his last role with Blue Hive, he led Mindshare’s global Unilever assignment for more than five years.“Phil will bring his extensive knowledge and experience of working with some of the world's largest and most sophisticated advertisers,” said Nick Waters, CEO of Aegis Media APAC.After eight years as CEO of China, KF Lee will take on the role as Chairwoman overseeing the business across Aegis Media’s largest market in Asia."Our recent successful acquisitions in diverse digital companies, means we can live up to our global vision to reinvent how brands are built more successfully than ever.
