ADNA has appointed April Han (pictured) as general manager of its integrated content production studio, DANA!. In her new role, Han will be tasked to manage and grow DANA!'s expanding portfolio of clients.
In particular, one of her first tasks will be linking the on-shore DANA! Studio in Singapore with ADNA’s existing off-shore studio partners in Jakarta, Cape Town and Shanghai, to create a delivery network that will work 21 hours around the clock for all ADNA’s Group, direct, bespoke and in–house clients. Additionally, Han will join the ADNA core management which includes Gracy Mathovani, Susie Hunt, Michelle Beh, Bellamia Augustina, Gary Tranter, Matt Cullen, Nishant Kaushal and Henry Gomez.
“I’ve known of Mayo, Tranter, and Cullen for a long time," Han said. She added that being offered the chance to work with a talented, diverse and well-regarded management team was an opportunity she could not pass up, expressing her excitement to see what the combined fruits of the team's labour from ADNA and DANA! will look like.
Previously, Han worked with a wide range of brands and industries such as ExxonMobil, Peugeot, Ford, Singtel, Citibank and OCBC, accumulating over 20 years of experience. According to her LinkedIn, she was formerly an account director at DDB Worldwide and The Alchemy Partnership.
"I am very excited that Han is going to lead DANA! Studio. Delivering quality at speed is the holy grail for all marketing clients now and Han’s leadership is as much testimony as much to our growing reputation as it is to the future ahead of us,” Tranter, chief creative officer of ADNA said.
Mayo added that the DANA! Studio is critical to the agency's frictionless model and now accounts for a sizable portion of its business. "Han's breadth of experience in customized client response puts her uniquely at the helm of an integrated part of our business that is as practical as it is strategic and creative, with no loss of urgency or quality,” he explained.
ADNA was launched in 2020 around the belief that speed and quality no longer need to compete with one another. According to ADNA, the agency now boasts upwards of US$35 million in billings from nine offices, with more planned towards the end of 2022.
Separately, ADNA has named Gracy Mathovani as general manager of Singapore last December. She is currently responsible for managing and channelling the growth of the Singapore office to include ADNA, as well as DANA! Studio.
