Actor, singer, and culinary entrepreneur Nicky Tirta (pictured) will open this year’s DMA Indonesia 2025 with a fireside chat exploring the evolving role of influencers in brand storytelling.

Tirta, best known for his work in popular sinetron (Indonesian soap operas) such as Bidadari, Senandung Masa Puber, and Baby, I Love U, has expanded his presence well beyond the screen. Today, he is not only a household name in entertainment but also a celebrity chef and food entrepreneur, leading ventures such as Kytir Premium Brownies and Kytir Bakery.

On social media, his influence spans 1.4 million Instagram followers and over 500,000 TikTok fans, where he blends lifestyle, entertainment, and culinary content.

At DMA Indonesia 2025, Tirta will take the stage with the session “From clicks to connections: Making influencer collaborations count in a cluttered space”. He will share his perspective on how brands and influencers can go beyond surface-level engagements to build lasting value.

The discussion will cover transcending mediums and embracing new-age storytelling through social content, building trust with authentic influencer partnerships that create long-term brand associations, and boosting engagement with tailored short-form video strategies, while focusing on measurable campaign impact.

The session - moderated by MARKETING-INTERACTIVE editor-in-chief Rezwana Manjur - is set to resonate strongly with marketers navigating today’s saturated influencer ecosystem. By featuring Tirta, DMA Indonesia 2025 aims to bridge the gap between entertainment, entrepreneurship, and data-driven marketing, showing how influencer-led narratives can spark deeper consumer connections.

The conference runs under the theme “Powering next-gen commerce and data-driven growth”, with a high-profile line-up of speakers including Iskandar Siva, director of global experimentation and growth at ParagonCorp; Kartika Guerrero, SVP of media at Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison; Juliana Cen, managing director of HP Indonesia; Budiman Rusly Djohari, chief data and analytics officer at Sequis Life; and Mayank Singh, CMO and head of centre of excellence and experience at Domino’s Pizza Indonesia.
