Kartika Guerrero (pictured), senior vice president of media at Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (IOH), has been confirmed as a speaker at DMA Indonesia 2025, the flagship conference organised by MARKETING-INTERACTIVE.
In her role at Indosat, Guerrero leads media strategy across multiple channels, aiming to optimise consumer journeys and to drive sustainable business growth. She brings more than 14 years of experience in both digital marketing agencies and FMCG, having worked with Ogilvy, GroupM, Unilever, and Fonterra across the Asia-Pacific region, including the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
Guerrero is known for her ability to turn complex information into compelling narratives and for fostering collaborative environments to drive impactful results that resonate with diverse audiences. She will appear in the panel “Cracking the code of social commerce in a world of seamless journeys and smart experience stacks”, where she will discuss how channel, content, and commerce can be aligned to enable efficient growth.

“Our industry is evolving so quickly, and this forum gives us the space to pause, reflect, and reimagine how creativity, data, and technology can truly work harder for people - turning ideas into impact and bringing the magic to life,” she told MARKETING-INTERACTIVE.
IOH is one of Indonesia’s leading telecommunications operators. It was formed in January 2022 from the merger of Indosat Ooredoo and Hutchison 3 Indonesia, making IOH the country’s second-largest mobile telecoms company.
IOH operates multiple mobile brands, including IM3 and 3 (Tri Indonesia), and offers services across mobile voice and data, broadband internet, and digital solutions. The company has placed increasing emphasis on innovation - investments in 5G infrastructure, open-source AI models for local languages, and digital products have been part of its strategy to deepen its role in Indonesia’s digital transformation.
Among its latest AI initiatives, Indosat has launched a 70-billion parameter large language model (LLM) under the Sahabat-AI banner with GoTo Group, opened an AI Experience Centre in Jayapura, Papua, and hosted Indonesia’s first-ever AI Day for the mining industry. The company has also partnered with Mastercard and the ministry of communications and digital to roll out a nationwide cybersecurity training programme, aimed at strengthening the country’s digital resilience.
Guerrero will join a prestigious line-up of speakers at DMA Indonesia 2025, which also features Iskandar Siva, director of global experimentation and growth at ParagonCorp; Wolga Setyanto, head of media and digital at Kalbe Nutritionals; and Juliana Cen, managing director of HP Indonesia. The conference is anchored by the theme “Powering next-gen commerce and data-driven growth.”
