7-Eleven introduces new products to consumers via 'pre-order' platform

7-Eleven has collaborated with different partners to roll out a series of products such as Disney and Japanese illustrator Kanahei. At the same time, customers could pre-order items via the platform “7-Eleven Pre-order”.

Launched in 2020, this platform is a new business channel of 7-Eleven which provides the opportunity to reach out to more customers with different products. To further cater for customers' needs, 7-Eleven conducted research which shows consumers are willing to purchase products with popular and well-loved cartoon characters of all time. Therefore, the convenience store company started the “Pre-order” platform with collaborations with various brands and those cartoon characters and with a limited promotion period.

By launching its collectible programme, 7-Eleven has collaborated with different licensed partners and offer exclusive products to excite customers, such as Disney, PEANUTS x FDMTL and Sanrio. All products are practical and useful for consumers in daily life, such as foldable trolleys, masks, bedding sets and more.

Previously, the brand has launched the first-ever Sanrio Minna No Tabo Mahjong Set (大口仔麻雀 ) and that created a lot of buzz in Hong Kong. 7-Eleven plans to continue to innovate more products with different characters and themes in the “Pre-order” series to unlock new opportunities for customers.

The current pre-order period lasts for two weeks. Customers could find a list of pre-order products available at 7-Eleven, they could then pre-order and pick up at our stores in Hong Kong and Macau.

In addition to this project, 7-Eleven and American footwear brand Crocs teamed up to bring their exclusive shoe collection to Hong Kong in mid-November. It is officially available in Hong Kong this month. The new collaborative collection includes two exclusive styles – the 7-Eleven x Crocs classic clog and 7-Eleven x Crocs classic sandal – in colourways reflecting the iconic red, green and orange branding of 7-Eleven and featuring uniquely 7-Eleven-themed Jibbitz charms including depictions of 7CAFÉ drinks, Slurpees and hot dogs.

7-Eleven knows its customers always eye on something fun, exciting and fashionable, so the brand decided to step into the fashion world and team up with Crocs to launch the exclusive limited-edition 7-Eleven x Crocs shoe collaboration. Consisting of two global brands, the partnership aims to present a fun yet effective way to engage with its wider group of consumers.
