Profero strikes deal to expand Japan operation

Profero has announced a merger of Profero Japan with local communications agency Alien-Eye.With immediate effect, the merged entity will operate under the Profero Japan brand led by Alien-Eye CEO James Hollow (pictured).A statement from Profero co-founder and global CEO Wayne Arnold said the timing was right to boost Profero's Japanese operations."Japan's domestic economy is resurging, meaning Profero Asia is perfectly placed to partner with local brands looking to expand into international markets," he said.We already have a strong legacy of working with some of the regions most exciting and globally ambitious organisations and merging with Alien-Eye offers us a great opportunity to build upon that," he said.James Hollow will be supported in the role by Toshiki Sato as head of strategic planning and Ryuichi Kaneda as head of account services.Hollow said combining Profero's strength and global network will offer a real challenger to the current Japanese digital landscape.Profero Japan will work with a range of local and international brands including Cannondale, Lufthansa, Norton, Rakuten and Salesforce.
