Zuji on PR agency hunt

Online travel agent Zuji is on the lookout for a public relations agency for its communications duties.Sources told Marketing that Zuji is looking for an agency to work with in the local market. Zuji previously appointed Text 100 Singapore in 2011 to manage regional media relationships for the company while Waggener Edstrom held the duties for the Singapore market.A spokesperson for Zuji declined to comment on the development.Earlier last year, Australian online travel agent Webjet agreed to acquire Zuji for US$25 million, according to global reports. The acquisition will see the Zuji brand name remaining intact whilst its business will be migrated to Webjet's IT platform.The deal is slated for completion by the first quarter of this year.Zuji has been operating in the region since 2002. It has had a presence in South Korea but has since shut down in the market.
