Zouk Singapore is gearing up for its boldest reinvention yet, with a multi-million-dollar renovation across Zouk Mainroom, Phuture, Capital, and RedTail, slated to begin in Q1 2026 and complete by June, ahead of the club’s 35th anniversary.

While nightlife remains at its core, the revamp positions Zouk as a multi-dimensional lifestyle platform and a fertile ground for brand activations and experiential marketing. CEO Andrew Li said, “We are choosing to invest ambitiously in expanded capacity, state-of-the-art technology, and a rich spectrum of inclusive, multifaceted experiences – from live music to MICE – to create a space where people can connect and express themselves."

"The investment goes beyond physical upgrades; it’s about strengthening the customer experience and deepening the sense of community that has always been at the heart of Zouk," Li added.

Nicholas Lee, centre manager at Clarke Quay, said, “Zouk has grown to become a global brand, with state-of-the-art clubs in cities such as Las Vegas and Tokyo. We look forward to Zouk’s reinvention of their ‘hometown’ club, which will bring fresh energy and expanded experiences that support our mission of shaping CQ as a dynamic lifestyle destination.”

To lead the transformation, Zouk has tapped international creative partners Josh Held Design and Superlative, whose work on Zouk Tokyo helped fuel the brand’s global expansion. Held will lead the redesign of the Mainroom with modular layouts and immersive environments, while Superlative will deliver next-generation audio, visual, and lighting experiences, including concert-grade sound systems and 12-metre LED walls.

Capacity will increase to 3,500, making the venue suitable for both intimate performances and large-scale experiential activations. Currently, the main Zouk room can accommodate 1,6000 guests, according to its website.

With its expansion into day-to-night programming, Zouk is positioning itself as a full-spectrum entertainment and lifestyle platform, offering brands a way to connect with Singapore’s trend-conscious audiences while staying true to its music and cultural DNA.

The transformation is supported by a lease extension with CapitaLand at CQ @ Clarke Quay, securing Zouk’s flagship venue. The lease renewal will commence in June 2026, following the expiration of its current agreement in May 2026, reported The Straits Times.

It also follows the group's efforts to diversify its entertainment options. In 2022, Zouk moved into fine dining with the launch of Maison Shuko, a high-end F&B concept located opposite its Clarke Quay venue. The concept showcases "Asiatique cuisine", melding French and Japanese techniques, according to CNA.
