



Zoomcar launches heartwarming brand films as part of large-scale brand campaign

Car sharing marketplace Zoomcar has released its first large-scale brand campaign titled #ApniHiSamjho, to showcase and build its Guest-Host community which allows for aspiring business owners to host their vehicles on Zoomcar and generate a second income.
Three videos were launched in different phases as part of the campaign with the first video, “Introducing all new guest-host experience”, depicting a visually impaired man boarding a Zoomcar, after not being able to read the descriptions of the booking details on his phone. The car host then offers him a paper with braille, so that both of them are able to understand each other in a heartwarming gesture.
Shortly after video was launched, another video followed. The video followed a woman using the keyless entry function that Zoomcar boasts by simply unlocking the car through an app and driving seamlessly through the city. When she runs into issues regarding the rented car, the host is just a phone call away.
The final video, titled “Enjoy all new guest-host experience”, shows the warm hospitality the host offered to her guest by using the two-way chat function.

Zoomcar launched the campaign with a 360 approach and with the goal of building memorability and increasing awareness. Apart from showcasing the campaign videos on TV, the clips will also be appearing city-wide, across digital mediums, in top airports, and various prominent outdoor properties.
The brand also worked with influencers to amplify the campaign who brought the guest-host story to life for audiences that might have missed it during TV commercial.

Zoomcar told MARKETING-INTERACTIVE that the campaign is also one of the brand's first large-scale brand campaigns focusing on establishing guest-host connect. The brand added that it wanted guests to focus on enjoying their journey when they rent a car being able to treat the car as their own, helping them to create unforgettable memories as the car becomes a part of their experience.
Zoomcar also wanted to use its campaign to inform existing and potential customers about its new marketplace business model. “Since transforming our business into a marketplace model, we’ve been highly focused on delivering trust between our hosts and guests. We’ve got great feedback and want to build further awareness about this and what makes Zoomcar truly special. We hope this campaign reflects this and resonates with our primary audiences,” Moran told MARKETING-INTERACTIVE.
