Zeno Singapore nabs Dentsu's ex-creative lead

Zeno Group Asia, the global integrated communications agency, has appointed Tony Ray Pereira as executive creative director for its Singapore office.

In this newly created role, Pereira will be responsible for leading content excellence and creative strategy for the agency’s roster of local and regional clients. He will report to Jeremy Seow, managing director of Zeno Group Singapore, and partner with Zeno’s creative community of 30 content creators in offices across the Asia Pacific region.

At Zeno, Pereira will oversee work for clients like Audi, Intel, Asus, Far East Hospitality, Gardasil, Zostavax, Veeam and Toshiba.

Pereira brings with him over 25 years of experience in growing his clients’ businesses through developing high impact, integrated marketing programmes for global brands. He joins Zeno from Dentsu Singapore where he was previously regional and executive creative director, and also chief creative officer at Dentsu Indonesia. Prior to this, he held senior creative roles at Leo Burnett, J. Walter Thompson and McCann Erickson.

Seow said, “Zeno Singapore has been working towards being a leading content marketing agency on a global scale. Pereira will be able to build on our existing infrastructure in this office, tap on our various virtual content centres of excellence and partner up with our content amplification team to deliver on that promise.”

Pereira said, “Not only does Zeno constantly produce highly insightful and compelling work for its clients, its broad capabilities extend beyond just campaign planning to include media strategy and planning. As an organisation, the firm is highly collaborative and nimble – I believe its structure of building regional centres of excellence for technology, editorial and amplification sets it apart as an agency built for the future.”
